LOCASH CELEBRATES ACM NOMINATION FOR ‘NEW VOCAL DUO OR GROUP OF THE YEAR

LOCASH’s Chris Lucas and Preston Brust are celebrating their first major industry award nomination as ACM Awards® nominees in the New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year category.

As Country Aircheck’s No. 1 New Artist for 2016, the Reviver Records duo is fresh off their No. 1 smash single, “I Know Somebody” and their first RIAA Gold-Certified chart-topping single “I Love This Life.” “Ring On Every Finger,” LOCASH’s new sweet sentiment single that just begs to be danced to, recently premiered all over CMT channels and platforms.

“We are just so happy country radio gave us a chance and believed in us! Without them we wouldn’t be here! And thank you to all the ACM voters for the nomination, and the opportunity to have a chance to win New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year!” Chris Lucas exclaimed. “This is incredible! THANK YOU country radio, ACMs and every voter for your heart in this journey. We have dreamt of this day for so many minutes and so many miles,” Preston Brust added.

The ACM Awards® are produced for television by dick clark productions and will be broadcast LIVE from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 2 (live 8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

“Ring on Every Finger” was also filmed in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The duo brought their contagious energy to the screen for their third single from their album THE FIGHTERS (CLICK HERE to watch).

They’re currently on the road as part of Live Nation’s Ones to Watch Tour with Reviver Records labelmate and hot newcomer Michael Tyler. BMLG Records Ryan Follese will also join LOCASH for select shows. CLICK HERE for more information on special VIP packages and tickets (tour dates below).

Thanks for taking a few seconds to read this. I have been with MTRS since its inception. Love doing the live broadcasts and interviewing my hero's and other very interesting people over the decade of this. MTR is my therapy. Have always looked at this site and station as being part of the solution for the artists. We have NEVER pushed our own agenda, it has always been in the name of the bands, the music and the direction in which we have an influence in helping. We are part of the solution. Its simple! We are here to help bands and entertainers succeed. We go way far beyond of what is expected of a station/PR piece.
