Birthday Bash Events on February 7th and 8th in Select Theaters Nationwide

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the iconic comedy classic Wayne’s World, SpectiCast and Paramount Pictures are hosting excellent, two-night, theatrical events on February 7th and 8th, 2017.  Fans across the U.S. will have the chance to party on with Wayne and Garth when the film returns to more than 400 theaters. The special events will include an exclusive introduction by Peter Travers (Rolling Stone Magazine and ABC-TV) and a videotaped chat with the director and cast members after the film.  Wayne’s World was originally released on February 14, 1992.

Based on the “Saturday Night Live” sketch of the same name, Wayne’s World is a wacky, irreverent pop-culture comedy about the adventures of two amiably aimless metal-head friends, Wayne (Mike Myers) and Garth (Dana Carvey).  From Wayne’s basement, the pair broadcast a talk-show called “Wayne’s World” on local public access television. Wayne’s World, directed by Penelope Spheeris, grossed $183 million in its theatrical run, placing it as the tenth highest-grossing film of 1992 and the highest-grossing of the 11 films based on “Saturday Night Live” skits. The movie features Rob Lowe, Tia Carrere, Lara Flynn Boyle, Brian Doyle-Murray, Robert Patrick, Chris Farley, Ed O’Neill, Ione Skye, Meat Loaf, and Alice Cooper.

Tickets for the February 7th and 8th events may be purchased at

“Wayne’s World transcends generations to pay tribute to an indelible place in American pop culture,” says SpectiCast CEO Mark Rupp. Peter Travers of Rolling Stone Magazine adds, “Director Penelope Spheeris brings out the best in Mike Myers and Dana Carvey while converting a classic SNL sketch into an enduring, full bodied film for the ages.”

Paramount Home Media Distribution also will celebrate the anniversary with a Wayne’s World Double Feature on DVD and Digital HD, arriving February 14, 2017.  Plus, Wayne’s World will be available on iTunes with new-to-digital extras, including a Director’s Commentary and Making-Of featurette.

ATTACK OF LIFE – “The Bang Tango Movie” (2015 4/5 Stars Review)

bangtangomovieATTACK OF LIFE – The Bang Tango Movie (2015) was recently released on youtube. This provided the opportunity for fans of the band Bang Tango to dive in and get an insight view of this band that thrived in the late 80’s and went through numerous lineup changes over the decades. It is strongly featured with the frontman Joe Leste.

This documentary takes you into the lives of being on the road with the band and all the suffering they went through with Leste’s problems.  He still forged on and kept the Bang Tango dynasty moving on even with the Beautiful Creatures releases.  There are some really great observations from past members and their recollection of events that happened that kept the band from getting over the hump to be a big named band. This documentary is entertaining, nice to see Joe Leste open up on this as well as former members.  Special appearance by Chip Z’Nuff on it.  The movie is below for you to watch.  Pretty interesting that this documentary was made and released on youtube.  Pretty cool!

Overall: 4/5 Stars    This was not a boring documentary or a rocumentary, it actually kept me involved with it and was constructed very well. Great story line and nice to see the current lineup involved in this. Especially Lance Eric and Rowan Robertson. Great guys right there!

Movie Review – Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser (2015) (7/10 Stars Rating)

Joe Dirt 2 : Beautiful Loser

Movie review- Dom Rini

A Happy Madison Production presents “Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser” exclusively on CRACKLE on 7/16/2015. Streaming for free.  The basic plot is of the movie is to give Joe Dirt a meaning of what he should be doing in life and what is most important to him.   There are of course the flashbacks which take you to the original one and of him trying to be a bad ass and dealing with funny crisis which affect him.  He may have aged alot but he holds it together in this sequel.

The great acting keeps this movie fluid. Without being a jerk and telling you about the movie you have to take my word on it. This movie has its moments and a few chuckles but no gut busters with this one. I have really been waiting for this as Joe Dirt is in my top 10 of favorite movies. Of course knowing if JD is in my top ten then you know what #1 would be, “FRIDAY.” This movie is giving you the dog humping, Buffalo Bill, full on mullet and guest acting by Mark McGrath. I look forward to “Sharknado 3” as Mark did such a great job in the #2.  The Christopher Walken character gives the movie more validity and keeps it together. With great acting with David Spade, Brittany Daniel, Christopher Walken, Adam Beach, Mark McGrath, Jasmine Waltz, and Susie Abromeit.

I give  Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser a 7/10 rating.  I had so much expectation for this movie.  The actors where phenomenal,  thus the high rating.  David Spade pulls this off. I think that if the script would have been a little more built up and pushing the comedic level like the first one, than  Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser would have been an instant great classic as a sequel.  I love the mashing of the movie throughout. On a side note, Roger Ebert gives this movie a 1/4, what does he know?
